Mary Jane Golson

Mrs. Mary Jane Golson, 93, of Palestine, formerly of Milam County, died Friday, Nov. 13, in a Palestine nursing facility.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco.
Mrs. Golson was born Dec. 21, 1921 to Fritz and Katie Smith Patzke in Cameron. She lived in Waco for a number of years before moving to Palestine. She was a retired parachute rigger with the U.S. government. Her husband, H.H. Golson preceded her in death.
Mrs. Golson is survived by many nieces and nephews, including her caretakers Jay Patzke and Gene Patzke, both of Lake Jackson.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Sterling House of Palestine and Heart to Heart Hospice for the love and care they have provided.
Arrangements are under the direction of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
