Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. for Richard Tomasek, 81, of Cameron. It will be held in the Kathryn W. Green memorial chapel of the Green-Patterson Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Crow officiating.
Mr. Tomasek passed away Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, in a Temple hospital after an illness. Interment will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.
Mr. Tomasek was born Nov. 24, 1934 in Cameron to Frank and Christina Pavilek Tomasek. A lifelong resident of Milam County, he carried on the tradition of his family in the farming industry.
Surviving are his brother-in-law Julius Tobola Sr., one neice Judy Tabola Wenske, one nephew Julius Tobola Jr.,two great nephews, Colton Wenske and Clayton Wenske, all of Yoakum, and two great nieces, Stephanie Tobola and Alyssa Tobola, both of Hallettsville.
Visitation for the family will be at 1 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
