Joann W. Kubecka

Joann W. Kubecka, 84, of Temple and formerly of Cameron died Wednesday, Jan. 27, at her home.
Funeral services were held Jan. 30 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church with Rev. Steve Saucer officiating. Burial followed in the St. Monica’s Catholic Cemetery. Rosary was recited Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mrs. Kubecka was born July 13, 1931 in Houston to John Wesley and Lillian (Bergen) Kelchner. She retired from working at the Milam County Tax office and was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Temple.
She is survived by her husband Dennis Kubecka of Temple; sons Kenneth Kleypas and wife Karen of Houston, Wesley Kleypas and wife Debbie of Burlington, Earl Kleypas and wife Denise of Shepherd, Michael Kleypas and wife Lisa Ctvrtlck of Houston; daughters Kathryn Woods and husband Brad of Temple, Mary Kleypas and husband Greg Shattuck of Austin and Martha Kleypas of Austin; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
