Most fans of the Cameron Yoemen are all wondering the same thing this week - How are the Yoemen going to respond?
Cameron is coming off a 63-13 loss to China Spring - their worst home defeat since Liberty Hill (63-14) in 2007 and Marlin (70-7) in 2003. Though the loss is a tough one to swallow, it’s still early and there is time to fix some issues and mistakes that occurred in last week’s home opener.
“We want to fix the problems that we had from that game,” said Yoe head coach Tommy Brashear. “Technique issues, reading our keys on defense, getting lined up on offense and on defense and executing better on offense are all things we want to see fixed. We want to bring that never quit attitude and rebound from this loss and do better against Bay City. We need to get this bad taste out of our mouth and go into district feeling a lot better about things.”
