Ruby Tiemann Krieg

Ruby Tiemann Krieg, age 97, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, in Round Rock.

Ruby was born in Thorndale to R. Herman Moerbe and Sophia Melde Moerbe on Christmas

Day, Dec. 25. 1918. Ruby attended St Paul Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed. On May 18, 1938, she married Edmund Tiemann. Together they owned and operated Tiemann Garage where she was the bookkeeper until his passing in 1971. Later she married Will Krieg and made her home in Thrall. She became a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Will Krieg passed way in 1993.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; her daughter, Carole Heine; her brothers, Robert Moerbe and wife Rubye, Roy Moerbe and wife Ann; her grandson, Jason Tiemann; her son-in-law, Nathan Heine; grandson-in-law, Bill Posey; and stepdaughter, Margie Sager.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Rutledge and husband Homer and Edmund Larry Tiemann and wife Betty. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Debra Posey, Scott Rutledge and wife Stephanie, Christine Heine, David Heine and wife Melanie, Greg Heine and wife Tiersa, Sherri Elliott and husband David, and Sheila Frase and husband Ron; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law and nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. at Condra Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 17.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at St Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
