Warehouse of Horrors returning for 18th year

The First Street Warehouse of Horrors will return to welcome the Halloween weekend in Cameron on Oct. 28-29.

The warehouse is located on First Street at the intersection with N. Lamar. The popular event draws crowds every year and closing a few blocks to through traffic gives patrons a place to walk and congregate safely around the building.

Security is tight as law enforcement officers make up a good percentage of the volunteers putting on the event - both as scary characters and on patrol in the area.

The annual event provides a safe outlet for Halloween fun and scares.

“We are looking to make it a little scarier this year,” Dustin Thomas said. “Don’t be afraid to get dirty. We hope to see a lot of people out.”

The Warehouse will open at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28 and 29, and run as long as patrons are willing to risk the ‘dangers” inside. Admission is $10.

This year the event will also offer speed passes

All proceeds benefit Milam County Crimestoppers and this is their biggest event of the year.
