Sally Cervantes, 56, of Cameron, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, in a Temple hospital.  

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Monica’s Catholic Church with Rev. Dimitrij Colankin officiating. 

Burial will follow in the St. Monica’s Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Sunday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cervantes, a homemaker, was born Jan. 19, 1960, in Cameron to Juaquin Garcia and Paula Guzman. She married Silvano Cervantes and was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Silvano Cervantes of Cameron; sons, Silvano Cervantes Jr. of Cameron. Joe Cervantes of Arlington, and Luis Cervantes of Baytown; daughters, Anna Maria Cervantes of Cameron and Carina Cervantes of Cameron; brothers, Juaquin Garcia Jr. of Cameron, Jesus Garcia of Rockdale, and Edward Garcia of Cameron; sisters, Paula Marie Ramirez of Huntsville, Christina Elliott of Corpus Christi, Cecilia Dominguez of Cameron, Josefine Laos of Cameron, Linda Ortega of Cameron, and Silvia Silva of Cameron; and 10 grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
