Clarn Bennett Posey, 57, of Cameron died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at his home.
Memorial services will be at noon, Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at Grace Church in Cameron with Rev. Glynn Cummings officiating.
Clarn loved well, assisted others readily, had a good sense of humor and possessed a presence of tenacious strength. He was a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, and friend. When he was young he worked for the family business, Posey Mudlogging Services, and was a Journeyman Electrician for CPS Energy for 26 years before spending his last employment driving across the United States for a year. He loved deeply and was loyal and never boring.
Clarn was passionate about fast cars, motorcycles, bowling, darts and playing cards with his family. You called on Clarn if you could not firgure an engine problem out, needed a ride or was selling Benefit plates or sweets. His heart was committed to his family and friends. And we know he is hearing, “ Well done good and faithful servant.”
Clarn was survived by: wife, Shelley Posey of Cameron; daughters, Roberta Wigley of Floresville and Madison Posey of Floresville; step-daughter, Cassandra Blackburn of Lake Hills; sister. Kathy Posey of Floresville; and five grandchildren.
Clarn Bennett Posey will be treasured by those who knew him.
