Former coach charged with indecency with a child

A former Cameron ISD teacher and coach was taken into custody on Thursday, Aug. 10.
According to a release from the Cameron Police Department, Timothy James Lohr, 39 of Temple, was taken into custody without incident at his place of business in Temple.
He is charged with Indecency With A Child, a second degree felony, stemming from an incident when Lohr was employed as a teacher and coach with Cameron ISD.
Lohr taught 7th grade math and was a volleyball and basketball coach.
No other details have been made available.
