James Davis Fuson Jr.

Mr. James Davis Fuson Jr., 68, of Cameron, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 15, at his residence.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m., at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron, with Pastor Wayne Vincent officiating.

Mr. Fuson was born April 24, 1949, in Baytown, to James Davis and Mary Yvonne (Hollingsworth) Fuson. He married Marie (Hutchins) Fuson. Mr. Fuson attended Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena. He worked in oil field construction and also owned and operated Jim’s Septic Service in Cameron. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include: his wife, Marie Fuson of Cameron; sons, Jamie Garcia of Batson and William Malone of Houston; daughters, Misty Lewis of Missouri and Tommie Wilson of Liberty; brothers, Gary Fuson of New Waverly, Terry Boone of Baytown, Mark Boone of New Waverly, Travis Fuson of Berryville, Ark., and Grady Fuson of Jasper, Ark.; sister, Linda Tumbleson of Cameron; uncles, Buddy Fuson of Cameron and Jiggs Hollingsworth; and aunts, Gailnell and Carolyn. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Xavier Garcia, Isaac Garcia, Noah Garcia, Cayden Willis and Cody Malone. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Visitation for the family was held Friday, Aug. 18 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
