Jared Matthew Lynch

Jared Matthew Lynch, 40, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, in McKinney, Texas, after a two-year battle with cancer.  

Jared was born March 3, 1977, in Port Arthur and grew up in Port Neches. He attended Port Neches Groves High School and graduated from Trinity Christian School in Port Arthur. Jared earned a bachelor degree in Russian from The University of Texas at Arlington. He worked many years in pharmacy and was employed with Investors Business Daily when he became ill. Jared was a member of the Eastern Orthodox Church.  

Funeral service and burial will be at Holy Archangels Greek Orthodox Monastery in Kendalia, Texas.  

Survivors include: wife, Kelly Lynch of McKinney; sons, Caleb Lynch of Frisco and Nathan Lynch of McKinney; parents, Charles and Judy Lynch of Rockdale; brother, Charles Russell (Rusty) Lynch of Aloha, Ore.; sisters, Sherry Woodward and husband Greg of San Mateo, Calif., and Jennifer Austin of Columbia, Md.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
