Distracted driving course set for Dec. 5
Service Directory
Distracted driving is a dangerous epidemic on America’s roadways. In 2013, the number of Texas crashes involving distracted driving totaled 94,943, up four percent from the previous year. The message is simple: if you’re on the road, stay off the phone.
The Texas Municipal Police Association has teamed up with the Texas Department of Transportation to present a free, two-hour Distracted Driving course to Texas drivers. Please join us and thousands of other Texas drivers who have already taken the course as we make an effort to save lives. In order to truly combat the problem, we must change attitudes!
A Distracted Driving Course for Adult Drivers will be held Dec. 5 from 1-3 p.m. at the Cameron Police Department, 605 W. Fourth Street in Cameron.
