Another candidate has thrown their hat into the ring in the Milam County Judges race in 2018.
Jared Melde of Thorndale filed in the Democratic primary late last week to run for County Judge.
Frank Summers and Steve Young filed for the Republican primary earlier last week.
Others filing for a place on the Republican primary ballot are: County Clerk - Jodi Morgan; District Clerk - Karen Berry (Incumbent); County Treasurer - Linda Acosta; County Commissioner, Precinct 2 - Doug Baker, James Condry and Donald Shuffield (Incumbent); Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1 - Greg Hoelscher and Robert Hollas; Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2 - Sam Berry (Incumbent) and Don Schuerman; Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3 - Andy Issacs; and Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4 - Gary Northcott.
Jeff Muegge filed for Milam County Commissioner Precinct 4 on the Democratic primary ballot. He is the incumbent.
The filing period for a place on the 2018 Primary Ballot continues until Dec. 11.
