Opening Day Set

Cameron will celebrate Opening Day 2018 at The Yards of Cameron on Feb. 3. The community is invited to come out for baseball, food and fun at The Yards of Cameron. The day kicks off with a Farmers Market featuring the music of Jerry Bethell. Everyone can join the Yoemen on the C.H. Yoe High School Baseball field for the National Anthem and First Pitch Ceremony at 10 a.m. and then follow the Yoemen to Founders Hall at 10:30 a.m. for an autograph signing and a chance to purchase Yoe gear from the Booster Club.  At 11:30 a.m. the media is invited to join the players on the field for interviews and photos. Pitch, hit and run for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 begins at 12 p.m. on the Field. The Yoe Alumni game begins at 1:30 p.m. followed by the Kite Fly event at 2 p.m. For more information visit www.theyardsofcameron.com.
