Larry Charles Hopkins

Larry Charles Hopkins, 76, of Cameron, died Sunday July 1, 2018, in a Temple hospital. 

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.

Mr. Hopkins, a mechanic and carpenter, was born Dec. 3, 1941, in Wichita, Kan., to Charles and Maxine (Jones) Hopkins. He married Lucy Buck on Jan. 5, 1963. He had served in the U. S. Navy. 

Survivors include: his wife, Lucy Hopkins of Cameron; son, Aaron Hopkins of Overland Park, Kan.; daughter, Cathy Schiferl of Dallas; brothers, Leonard Hopkins of Harvest, Ala., and Harold Hopkins of Mesa, Ariz.; sister, Deborah Williams of Stockton, Kan.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
