Verna Mae Henderson, 95, of Bryan and formerly of Ben Arnold, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, in a Bryan nursing facility.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Gary Tatum officiating. Burial will be at a later time at the Ben Arnold Cemetery in Ben Arnold.
Mrs. Henderson was born on Sept. 25, 1923, in Ben Arnold to Ed and Tonie (Trojan) Dahse. She retired as Postmistress of the Ben Arnold Post Office. She married Reese Henderson on April 1, 1989, and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1996.
She is survived by a cousin.
