Charles Jackson “Jack” Terhune

Charles Jackson “Jack” Terhune, 86, of Cameron died Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at his home. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Terhune, owner and operator of Deluxe Cleaners, was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Greene County, Mo., to Charlie Jackson and Mildred (Snyder) Terhune. He served in the U. S. Air Force.  He married Joyce Brown on Oct. 15, 1953, and she preceded him in death in 2016.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cameron where he was involved with the church choir and a founding member of the Milam Community Theatre. 

He is survived by: daughter, Jackie Brantley and husband Gary of Cameron; two sisters, Norma Robertson of Springfield, Mo., and Judy McIntosh of Springfield, Mo.; two grandchildren, Ann Brantley and husband Robert Huerta, and Carson Brantley and wife Amanda; and four great-grandchildren, Johnny Huerta, Sullivan Brantley, Nora Brantley and Chloe Huerta.
