Holocaust Survivor

Bill Orlin, a Jewish survivor of The Holocaust during World War II, spoke to students from Yoe High School and Rogers High School on Monday about his experiences as a seven-year-old boy during the war. Orlin and his family were displaced from their home in Poland during the Nazi occupation and began a journey across Eastern Europe and Russia during the war. Orlin now lives in Houston after immigrating to the United States. He speaks to groups about his experiences across Texas. He is 86 years old. The Cameron History Club brought him in for the program.
