Virginia "Ginny" Kreil

Virginia Jeanette Schwartz Kreil, Ginny as most knew her, was welcomed to the world on Oct. 9, 1930, at 4:50 p.m. by her parents Joseph and Elsie (Toll) Schwartz at St. Nicholas' Hospital in Sheboygan, Wis. After 88 long years of life Ginny was called Home by our Lord on Feb. 22, 2019, at 4:25 a.m. in a Temple nursing facility.

Ginny was an only child raised with solid family morals, during an era where independence and pride were just as important. Surviving The Great Depression and witnessing several wars, Ginny gained her sense of pride, tremendous strength and a stubborn independence that became her legacy she passed on to her family.

In 1949 Ginny graduated from Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Wis. William James Kreil II captured Ginny's heart marrying her in April 28, 1956. They became parents on May 28, 1957, welcoming their son William James Kreil III to their little family. Not too long after on July 10, 1958, their daughter Mary Beth Kreil was born.  On April 19, 1964, Lisa Ann Kreil was born but three months later she passed away suddenly in the family home.

Ginny and her husband were licensed hairdressers operating a beauty school together for numerous years. After becoming a single mother Ginny worked two jobs to support her family during a difficult time. In 1985 Ginny transferred with her job at Warrne's Turf Nursery to Buckholts and eventually would call Cameron home. She worked at The Texan Cafe for a short time before working for Big Bob Terry Sr. and Bob Terry Jr. of Bob's Steak House in 1986; she would bring smiles and laughs to anyone that came out and she spoiled everyone the way only Ginny would. "The Boss" of Bob's Steakhouse retired in 2009 and is fondly remembered by those whose lives she vibrantly touched over a 20 year span of time.

Ginny is survived by her only granddaughter, Kirsten K. Cronk of Cameron, and two great-grandchildren, Madilyn Grace and Aiden Scott Humphries of Superior, Neb. She is remembered in love by Bob and Collie Terry (and family) of Cameron; Michael McCue of Cameron; Phyllis Warring of Cameron; and Amanda and Evelyn Duncan of Cameron. Ginny was loved by so many people throughout the community and will be deeply missed.

Ginny is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Lisa Ann; her son, William James; and daughter, Mary Beth; her parents, Joseph and Elsie Schwartz; and estranged husband, William James Kreil II.

A memorial celebration will be on March 23, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 3739 FM 1712 in Rockdale. At a later date Ginny's remains along with her son's and hopefully her daughter's remains will be taken home for burial at their final resting place in Appleton, Wis.
