“I have diligently served the people of Milam County for over 38 years, first as your Game Warden, then on to serving the as Constable of Precinct One, and then and currently as your sheriff.
As your sheriff for the past eight years, I have implemented numerous changes to my office. We have seen very positive results from those changes, ones which have helped our office to run smoothly and efficiently while giving back, budget-wise at the same time.
I have always felt a sincere duty to the people of Milam County; this is my home and always will be my home.  We have all been through thick and thin as a community, and although there may be hard times ahead, we can and – together, we will rise above them.  I enjoy facing the challenges that each day brings, and I look forward to the challenges of tomorrow.  For 38 years; service to the people has always been my top priority and that is not going to change.
You can count on my continued commitment to you, the people, and I hope to have your support and your vote at the 2016 Republican Primary. “
