Due to weather, it took a few days longer to get it in, but the Yoe High School Band will now be heading back to the state marching contest once again.  The band put forth two very strong performances in rain-delayed area competition Tuesday, and the hard work throughout the summer and fall is paying off.

“The best thing about today, hands down, was the improvement level from this afternoon’s performance to this evening’s performance,” said band director Craig George.  “The band is right on top of our area and will be right on top at state if they can continue to do what they are supposed to do.  I am really excited for the kids.”

The UIL 2A and 3A state marching contest is next Monday, Nov. 2, at the Alamodone in San Antonio.
