Florence Marie Boedeker

Florence Marie Boedeker, 88, of Cameron died Friday, May 6, in a Cameron nursing facility.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday May 11, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church with Rev. Dimitrij Colankin officiating. 

Burial will follow in the St. Monica’s Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Wednesday 10 a.m. at the church.

Miss Boedeker was born to Emil Henry and Aloisia Louise (Hosch) Boedeker. She was raised in Cameron and attended St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Later in life she went to live in the MHMR Group in Temple where she also worked until her retirement. 

She was preceded in death by her brother Edmund and sisters Alma, Gertrude, and Juanita. 

She is survived by one brother, Roland Boedeker; special niece and caretaker Kaye Taylor Kirk of Cedar Creek; and numerous other nieces and nephews
