Cameron kids successful at Rockdale Fair

Cameron exhibitors did very well at the Rockdale Fair last weekend bringing home several Grand and Reserve Champion projects.

The sale set a record with $312,182 in sales. The commercial heifer sale brought in $256,722.

Kenan Mingus of the Cameron 4-H had the Grand Champion swine. The Reserve Champion swine was shown by Jayton Benavidez of Cameron FFA. 

Brady Havens of Cameron Junior FFA had the Reserve Champion goat. 

Heath Hollas of Cameron 4-H had the Grand Champion pen of broilers. 

Reserve Champion rabbits went to Colby Barton of Cameron 4-H.

Grand Champion Commerical Heifers went to Shawn Leifeste of Cameron 4-H and Reserve Champion went to Chase Hubnik of Cameron Junior FFA.
