Margaret Caroline Zotz

Margaret Caroline Zotz, 69, of Cameron, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, in a Temple hospital. 

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 17, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church with Rev. Dimitrij Colankin officiating. Burial followed in the St. Monica’s Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday with a rosary.

Miss Zotz was born Aug. 20, 1947, in Cameron to Lawrence Patrick and Margaret Caroline (Evans) Zotz. She received her Associates Degree from Temple College.  She retired from Alcoa after 38 years of service as a Safety Professional. She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church. 

Miss Zotz is survived by: her mother, Margaret Zotz of Cameron; brothers, Lawrence Patrick Zotz of Cameron and Edward Michael Zotz and wife Sue of McKinney; sisters, Frances Louise King and husband Tommy of Rosebud and Elizabeth Marie Jackson and husband James of Rosebud; nephews and nieces, Julie Westerman and husband Eric of Spring, Eric King and wife Krista of Midlothian, Paul Zotz of Little Rock, Ark., Ryan Zotz of Knoxville, Tenn., Jeffrey Zotz of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Matthew Jackson of Rosebud, Megan De La Cruz and husband Derek of Harker Heights, Mallory Brewer and husband James of Rosebud, and Jennifer Zotz of McKinney; and great niece and nephew, Claire Westerman and Luke Westerman, both of Spring.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron or St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Rosebud.
