Mrs. Campbell was a member of Pleasant Retreat Methodist Church where she held many offices, the Pleasant Retreat Cemetery Association and the Thorndale Ex-students Association.

Doris loved the Lord, she loved her family (Jimmy being #1), she loved her friends and she adored her pets. She was strong-willed  (hard-headed) but a compassionate woman. She was a hard worker and dedicated to her responsibilities. To be such a petit woman, Doris was full of spirit, (a little firecracker). Doris was loved by many and she will be thought of everyday. May she rest in peace with her other heavenly angels.

By the way, she was an awesome Maw-Maw.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Thorndale Ex-Students Association, P.O. 393, Thorndale, Texas 76577.
