A mixed-bag of good and bad news was discussed at Monday’s meeting of the Milam County Commissioners Court.For example, Milam County Judge David Barkemeyer expressed satisfaction about the county’s revenues exceeding budget projections and county expenditures being less than budgeted so far this year. The combination of revenue increases and expenditure decreases is predicted to result in a $200,000 surplus for this year.
