'12 Incompetent Jurors' continues this weekend

Milam Community Theater’s production of  “12 Incompetent Jurors,” a comedy by Ian McWethy, continues this weekend at the Williams Events Center.

Performances will be Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 25,  at 2 p.m.. The final performance will be Saturday, March 31, at 7 p.m. at the Kay Theater in Rockdale.

When a man is accused of abducting half a dozen cats, it’s a simple open-and-shut case, even for a jury that’s filled with oddballs like a dim-witted PR executive, bickering relatives, and a creepy man obsessed with french fries. After all, every scrap of evidence indicts the accused.  And yet, Juror No. 8, a wannabe lawyer, believes that the “cat burglar” is innocent. Will he be able to sway the other jury members? Or will they side with Juror No. 3, the only sane man in the room? A hilarious parody of 12 Angry Men.

Tickets can be purchased online at milamcommunitytheater.com.
