Lynn Allen Mitchell Jr., 53, of Lockhart died Monday, July 6, 2015 in a Kyle Hospital. A memorial service was held July 11 at Marek- Burns-Laywell Funeral Home Mr. Mitchell, an electrical lineman, was born April 23, 1962 in Houston, to Lynn Allen Sr. and Juanita (Wardlow) Mitchell. He is preceded in death by his father Lynn Allen Mitchell, Sr., Survivors include his mother Juanita Mitchell of Rosebud; stepmother Martha Mitchell of Cameron; daughter Chelsie Jenner and husband Patrick of Kyle; brother Michael Mitchell and wife Debbie of Axtell; stepbrother Eugene Mekush, Jr. and wife Trudy of Cameron; sisters Cheryl Burks and husband Garry of Cameron and Edith Pagach and husband Johnny of Cameron; and stepsisters Melissa Bradley and husband Carl and Theresa Hollas and husband Gary, all of Cameron. Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Lynn Allen Mitchell, 77, of Cameron died June 10, 2015 in a Cameron nursing center. Funeral services were held June 13 at Marek-Burns- Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Simcik offi ciating. Burial followed in the Walkers Creek Cemetery. Mr. Mitchell, a retired welder/rancher, was born Aug. 5, 1937 in Houston to John Allen and Marie Anna (Velek) Mitchell. He married Martha Dodson Mekush. He is survived by his wife Martha Mitchell of Cameron; and children Cheryl Burks and husband Garry of Cameron; Edith Pagach and husband Johnny of Cameron; Lynn Mitchell, Jr. of Lockhart; Michael Eugene Mitchell and wife Debbie of Axtel; Eugene Mekush, Jr. and wife Trudy of Cameron; Melissa Bradley and husband Carl of Cameron; Theresa Hollas and husband Gery Hollas of Cameron and Tommy Mekush of West; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
